Due to the Canadian Government’s continued calls to censor social media, and freedom of speech, I have decided to find and join a local Friendica server.

Friendica is a Federated Social Media Network. That means that it is not hosted by a corporation but by multiple individuals, groups, organizations, companies. This means that each server has different policies with regards to content posted. The Government has no way of pressuring anyone to change their policies. This is truly freedom of speech. It means the Trudeau Thought Police will have no authority on the site.
